Bio-Power Plants
Economic and ecological utilization of organic waste

farmatic bio-power plants are highly-efficient, industrial wet-fermentation facilities. Due to support programs and the income received for electricity, regenerative energy gained from manure and other organic waste is a highly profitable business.
farmatic's operator concept is a unique, one-stop solution covering every aspect of the bio-power plant's operations.
Joint operating companies, consisting of local communities, farmers and farmatic, guarantee a high degree of process security and cost efficiency.

Some digesters of organic waste from municipalities and industry also use slurry from livestock operations.
These are called co-digestion plants.

farmatic is experienced in both types of operation.

Biogas plants can be designed for one or two-step processing and with or without pre-hydrolysis.
The one-step concept has increased economic feasibility due to the smaller investment cost. Fermentation can be accomplished in the mesophilic range with a reactor temperature of 100 F, or thermophilic at 132 F.
Depending upon the local requirements and the type of feedstock to be digested the process is selected for optimum results.
